Christening my launch with this banger - a staple that has been a constant source of joy in my life and is a recipe that you should de nitely not sleep on. It oozes decadence and sophistication and is sure to impress you and your mates. But if you didn’t know, I’m a little bit lazy and shortcuts are kinda my thing so there are plenty of tips and tricks - like this quick stovetop garlic con t hack that you’ll learn. One thing you’ll also notice as you read my newsletters is that this isn’t a place where we make things from scratch, in fact, it’ll teach you where to save time when cooking and what store-bought sauces and seasonings are better than making at home. If I’m honest, East Asian food is so complex in technique and ingredients that at least 75% of the time store-bought is probably better. I’m talking sauces and condiments, udon noodles and freezer staples. All of these store bought ingredients will make your life a lot easier - think of this as an unintended asian supermarket shopping guide!
